Great Agency Experience
We recently worked with Real Agency on a Shopify theme upgrade and couldn’t be happier with the results. The team delivered everything seamlessly, on time, and with great attention to detail. They were responsive, professional, and made the whole process smooth from start to finish.

We have used Real Agency for a while now and continue to enjoy a great working relationship with them. They offered advice and were able to build exactly what we wanted. They continue to provide ongoing support and we would not hesitate to recommend them to other businesses.

One Of The Best
Having worked with numerous development agencies over the years, I can wholeheartedly say that Real Agency are one of the best.
The site they’ve built is market leading. The process and detail in their planning and communication is second to none, and the consideration of marketing factors is rare to find in a development agency.

Long Term Partners
It’s rare to have a successful partnership with an agency that spans more than a decade but that’s exactly what we’ve had with Real Agency. They’ve helped us grow, advised us, supported us from a technical perspective and have always been on hand when we’ve needed them! The team are great to work with and we’ve built a really strong relationship with all of them over the years. As with any relationship there have been ups and downs but when it came to the crunch they always came through.

Worked with these guys for years.
I have been in and around Real Agency for the past 6 years and every opportunity that we have had to work together, it has always been a positive experience.
I have brought business to these guys often and will continue to trust my clients to explore how to expand their revenue with one of the best in the industry.

The Real Deal
Ash, Ben and the rest of the RA team were a treasure to work with throughout our website migration from Visualsoft to Big Commerce. They rose to the challenge every time and overcame all obstacles, whilst communicating throughout. I have no regrets about choosing to work with Real Agency. They are the real deal.

Stand out agency.
I very much enjoy working with Real collaboratively, they’re a great bunch of people, knowledgeable and creative problem solvers. I work alongside a lot of agencies with my various clients and Real stand out as one of the better ones I’ve worked with. Highly recommended! Long may our collaborations last!

Creating Marketing Leading Websites
We are currently working with Real Agency to build our new market-leading website, and the experience has been amazing. The team has built loads of new features that are set to make our site stand out. It has been a joy working with them to bring our vision to life, and we are very excited to go live very soon!
Special mention to our account manager, Louise, who has been incredible throughout the process. She is always on hand, goes above and beyond, and ensures that no detail is overlooked. Her accommodating nature means that every minor change we request is handled with care and precision, making sure that all the small, detail-oriented adjustments contribute to creating a truly great website.
We would highly recommend Real Agency for their exceptional service and dedication to excellence!

Solid partnership for 4+ years
Solid, large-scale partnership for 4+ years. Helped to revamp a (rather poorly) developed e-commerce site for us and and support us with Magento 2 upgrade. With such a large site there were always going to be teething issues but Real Agency spent the time and effort to fix various aspects and help us become successful. Highly recommended Magento agency to use, especially if you have limited in-house/full time resources.

We’ve been using Real Agency for 5 years and they very quickly became a non-negotiable part of our business. The technical support and the expertise that they deliver consistently has helped us to innovate and develop our website above and beyond our expectations. The team that supports us including our account managers and our developer are great to work with, they really know their stuff and they have quite simply enabled our business to grow significantly and easily.

Experienced Team – Great Service.
We’ve worked with Real Agency for a number of years spanning their Media Lounge era too and we’ve always found them to be extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. No question is too big or too small – or in my case no question is too silly! Real Agency go above and beyond to build a fantastic client-agency relationship and are able to have open and honest conversations using their vast expertise to really bring value to your business. In our case they built our Magento site, continued with new development projects, site support and hosting along with support on website incentives we could implement to boost our KPIs.
Thank you guys – you’re a fab team!

Excellent web development
Been with Real Agency (Media Lounge in the early days) for more than 8 years. They completely redesigned our Magento website and have managed us through many upgrades. Always helpful and manage to explain technical ‘stuff’ in easy to understand language. I highly recommend them both for their development work and their customer service.

AVOID or lose money
Recent name change from Media Lounge due to track record of letting customers down and leaving them out of pocket.

Original Review Copied below:
I would urge anyone considering working with Media Lounge to look elsewhere. Signing with these grifters could be very costly, it almost financially ruined us. Big lesson here, and this part is out fault, always read the small print and don’t sign their standard development contract it does not specify a development timeframe or give you any protection as a customer. Media Lounge will use this as an excuse to completely rip you off.
We trusted Media Lounge with our entire design / tech budget that we had been carefully budgeting for over the last few years. They were paid over £50k for a magento 2 website (over 90% of the entire cost) for a website that was still only partially finished over 2 years later.
Once 90% of the budget was extracted from us within a year, this is our fault for trusting their terms and conditions. Then they basically stopped delivering anything meaningful for next 14 months. During this timer we did have regular project management calls all the right noises claiming they are working on our project, it will be delivered, but they had a developer shortage etc. Ther truth was they had no intention of completing our website and had no real incentive once they had received 90% of the money. We eventually had to pay to have the website finished from a much more reliable agency. This meant the project actually cost 50% more than we budgeted for as Media Lounge refused any refund and handed over a shockingly poor level of code.
Its obvious from the reviews here that they will treat bigger companies with respect, but any smaller company who wants results please look anywhere else.

Media lounge are really the best
Media lounge are really the best web development company that we have ever dealt with. We’ve been with them for over 8 years now. They have built us 3 websites in total, magento 1 in 2016, magento 2 in 2018 and now in 2024 we have moved to Shopify.
Are they the cheapest? No
Are they the most expensive No
Trust me when I say before we were working with media lounge we tried cheap, it was a disaster. When moving from magento 2 over to our new Shopify store we got quotes from many companies media lounge were competitive with other high end web development agencies but we trust them.
They have always been on hand with anything we have needed.
Have we always see eye to eye….no.
Have we had disagreements….yes
But that’s life, we have a great understanding of how both our companies work.
In latest the Shopify development they listened to our brief and executed perfectly on time.
Check out their work on our site. Fight Equipment UK

Media Lounge boasts an incredibly skilled and knowledgeable team that delivered exceptional results for us. They dedicated numerous hours to assist us in designing and building our website from scratch. The end result exceeded our expectations, and we believe that Media Lounge offered excellent value for money. We are thrilled with their work and will definitely be returning for our next website project in a few months. Great job, guys!

Loyal for 10 years .
Media lounge have been thoroughly fantastic in all the years I’ve used them. I’ve had the same website (moved platforms – seemlessly ) with them for 10 years. In that time I’ve watched them grow from a small business with very good customer service and personability, to a MSB with the same admirable core values towards customer service and without losing their personal touch.
I recommend them highly for both skill and expertise AND a pleasure to work with.

AVOID!!!!
I would be careful before deciding to use this company. I paid £20k for a website I was assured would be delivered on time and in working order.
The website they delivered was glitchy, customer service was non existent.
Not to mention you have to work on Vietnamese time as thier dev team are based there so prepare to work around Vietnam time. Again not sure what costs £20k.
Shockingly after taking my website to someone else to look at as my website was now really glitchy , it was revealed all Media Lounge did was customize a free theme on Shopify that you could do yourself.
So I feel very ripped off . They were very convincing at the beginning with a lot of Zoom calls, once you have paid the service drops and they delivered late and it was a terribly glitchy website that I could of got for a fraction of the price.

Our assessment after analyzing reviews
Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews
The initial statement by “the website’s owner” is a typical marketing pitch and doesn’t provide any independent assessment of the agency’s credibility. It highlights their target audience and core services, which is expected but doesn’t contribute to verifying legitimacy.
The review by Anju Mahbubani is a positive one, highlighting a successful Shopify theme upgrade. The review emphasizes seamless delivery, timeliness, and attention to detail, all of which are positive indicators. However, without more specifics, it’s difficult to verify the authenticity independently. The language is straightforward and believable.
Joanna Baker’s review indicates a long-term, positive working relationship with Real Agency. She praises their advice, ability to build what they wanted, and ongoing support. This consistent, long-term relationship suggests reliability, but again, it lacks specific project details that would make it more verifiable.
Laura’s review positions Real Agency as “one of the best” development agencies. She highlights the quality of the site they built, their planning and communication, and their consideration of marketing factors. This is a strong endorsement, but it’s subjective. “Market-leading” is a strong claim that would require independent verification.
Jonny’s review describes a decade-long partnership, which is significant. The review mentions growth, advice, technical support, and a strong relationship with the team. The acknowledgement of “ups and downs” adds a touch of realism. However, a lack of specific project or outcome details makes it hard to fully validate.
Colin Stansbury’s review suggests a positive experience over six years. He emphasizes his trust in the agency and his willingness to refer clients to them. This word-of-mouth referral is a good sign, but it’s still anecdotal evidence.
Jamie Henville’s review highlights a successful website migration from Visualsoft to Big Commerce. The review mentions overcoming obstacles and communicating effectively, which are positive signs. The statement “They are the real deal” is a strong endorsement.
Justine Wyness’ review paints Real Agency as a collaborative, knowledgeable, and creative problem solver. As someone who works alongside many agencies, her high recommendation carries some weight. However, the review is somewhat vague and lacks specific examples.
Nick Crook’s review focuses on updating a Shopify website and incorporating new Markets functions. The main point is the strong account management and positive service, which is a good sign.
Alan Margerison’s review describes an ongoing project to build a new market-leading website. He praises the team’s ability to build new features and bring their vision to life. He specifically mentions the account manager, Louise, and her dedication to detail. This review is relatively detailed and includes a job title (Head of Digital Marketing), which increases its credibility.
Kevin’s review describes a solid partnership for over four years, which included revamping an e-commerce site and supporting a Magento 2 upgrade. He mentions teething issues and Real Agency’s efforts to fix them. This review includes specific project types (Magento upgrade, e-commerce site revamp), making it more believable.
Helen Taylor’s review boasts a 5-year relationship with Real Agency, emphasizing their technical support and expertise. She states that they are a “non-negotiable part of our business.” This kind of strong, consistent relationship is a strong positive signal.
Alex Dickie’s review is brief but positive, describing the agency as helpful and experienced.
Charlotte’s review refers to a long-term relationship, dating back to their “Media Lounge era.” She praises their helpfulness, friendliness, knowledge, and ability to build a fantastic client-agency relationship. She describes several types of services they provided (Magento site build, development projects, site support, hosting). This is a detailed and positive review.
Sue Dicker’s review indicates a relationship of more than 8 years, including a website redesign and upgrades. She highlights their helpfulness and ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
Roger Moon’s review is a strongly negative review. It accuses the agency (formerly Media Lounge) of letting customers down and leaving them out of pocket. He claims to have paid over £50k for a partially finished Magento 2 website and accuses them of extracting 90% of the budget and then ceasing meaningful work. The review urges others to look elsewhere. The specific financial detail adds weight to his claim.
James Neary’s review offers a counterpoint to the negative reviews. He states that Media Lounge (now Real Agency) is the best web development company he has dealt with. He acknowledges they are not the cheapest or most expensive, but he emphasizes their trustworthiness. He describes building three websites with them over eight years.
Seb’s review praises the agency’s skilled and knowledgeable team, their dedication to designing and building a website from scratch, and the excellent value for money.
Juliette Oliver’s review describes a 10-year relationship with Media Lounge (now Real Agency). She notes their growth from a small business to a larger one while maintaining good customer service.
Giles Matthey’s review is a negative review. He claims he paid £20k for a website that was glitchy and delivered late, with poor customer service. He claims that the agency simply customized a free Shopify theme.
Darren Burns review is short but very positive review, describing the agency as excellent all round and one of the most capable teams he had worked with.
