I can’t emphasize more how much of a scam this company is. I spent thousands, had the owner of the company talk to me , just to be told my product will be delayed for another project. After that and spending thousands, I was informed the prototype will cost over 18,000$. There is no mechanics or electronics. I could literally do the prototype my self in a week. After telling them how outrageous this was, I was told that sorry we disagree and that was the end of the project. I spent Thousands for absolutely nothint

Please do not use this scam company
Please do not use this company. They have loads of subsidiary companies all looking to take your money. I stupidly fell into the trap and I’ve now lost a considerable amount of money. They started the design of my website for my new business, and pressed me to approve the initial design. Little did I know, this was so they could move to the ‘development stage’ which to them constitutes as them fulfilling their agreement. Then comes the upselling. Dedicated server was needed and it HAD to be one of theirs which of course was really expensive. I proceeded on the bases that there would no NO additional costs to get the website fully functional, to which they agreed and asked me to screenshot the message as confirmation. A few weeks later, they told me they want another £845 for website protection (note: if I don’t pay, Google will take it down, apparently). This then went down to £649 and then £499 just to get me to pay it. Sadly my new business doesn’t have that kind of money left. They then told me that I cannot have any kind of refund on the web design and have to wait a year for any kind of refund on this ‘spectacular’ server I had to pay for. By which time I no doubt this company will be dissolved and be long gone or called something else. Please don’t do it!

scam
This seemed to start off good but within a few months, I found that I was doing more updates to the web page then they were. After sending them all the photos discerption, SQU ect, they put everything under the description and I had to go in and redo all of it. Dewayne Johnson was my rep. Before the site was completed now 4-5 months in they now wanted an additional 16K for SEO’s since they do not tell you this before you start with them. I refused to pay it and they dropped the price to 12k, then 6k and all the way down to 3500 for just one year. Every time I would go on the mock site to add of see how it was going it would say account suspended…. They would re-do the password and say it was a technical error.
None of the photos lined up with the other photos and honestly, It did not look like any website that they display on their site which sucks you in. I realized they were using word press which you can as well at a fraction of the price and with a few YouTube videos you can start your own website. Lets be real here it does take some time but they are not worth several thousand dollars in my experience. Luckly I did not listen to them and I used pay pall which they tell you not to do to pay them and after 6 months I disputed this with pay pal and received a full refund. If you do decide to try them out and maybe your experiance will be better they others make sure you pay with Pay Pal just incase they do not deliver what they say they will. Be aware they will want you to move over your domain name and when they have that, they can charge you want they want and if you don’t pay, well you no longer have a website. Buyer beware…..

Poor communication, did not complete job but took my money
I hired this company to develop my website last year. Daniel was initially my project manager and then Connor took over the project. During the initial phase of the project, I sent over exactly what I wanted for my website in a long word document. I never received any updates without asking, and it seemed like no on even reviewed the document, because each time I asked for an update, I had to keep explaining the same thing over and over in the same exact way it was described on the document.
Months went by with no updates, the project was never completed after more than 1 year, and they refused to refund me despite the fact that the website was never published.

Our assessment after analyzing reviews
Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews
The initial statement “Written by the website’s owner” is promotional content and should be disregarded when assessing credibility based on client reviews.
Bertha Bowman’s review is short and positive, praising the website design’s visual appeal and ease of navigation. It’s a general positive statement, lacking specific details. While not inherently suspicious, the lack of detail makes it difficult to verify its authenticity.
Jennifer Gormley highlights a “fantastic” website design but mentions a slightly longer-than-expected launch process. The review balances praise with constructive criticism, mentioning the team’s professionalism and responsiveness. This type of feedback, including both positive and slightly negative aspects, tends to be more authentic.
Ana Ramsey’s review praises the “fantastic marketing service,” citing increased online visibility and conversions. This is a strong endorsement focused on results. Similar to Bertha’s review, it lacks specific campaign details, making it harder to confirm the claims.
John Poss finds the design “good” but expresses a desire for more tailoring to specific needs. He’s still happy with the overall results. This balanced feedback lends credibility, indicating a real customer experience with both positive and negative aspects.
Steven Sousa “absolutely loved” the quick delivery and the website’s clean, professional, and mobile-responsive design. It’s a concise and positive review, but lacks detailed reasoning, which is common in many genuine testimonials.
Chris Perrotta’s review is a stark contrast to the others, alleging a “scam” experience. He claims to have spent thousands of dollars, only to be hit with exorbitant prototype costs and then abandoned. The strong negative language, the mention of specific financial figures, and the ultimate feeling of getting nothing for his investment, all suggest a potentially very negative and impactful experience. This review must be taken seriously, as it raises serious red flags.
James Benett found the marketing service “great,” but suggests a need for more SEO focus. This nuanced opinion, highlighting both positives and areas for improvement, sounds more genuine than purely positive reviews. He notes improved leads, indicating some success.
Chloe Beth states the design team “exceeded my expectations” with a sleek, modern, and easy-to-navigate website that aligns perfectly with her brand. This is a strong, positive review, but could be more credible with added specifics.
Tom Roeser says “Sarah Morgan was prompt and helpful in assisting me in my website.” This is a brief, positive statement specifically mentioning an individual, which lends a slight amount of credibility.
Peter Passaretti’s review is terse and negative: “Never completed the project!” and “Will not return phone calls.” This is a serious accusation of non-delivery and poor communication. The concise nature suggests frustration.
Brad Taylor issues a strong warning: “Please do not use this scam company.” He describes being pressured into approving the initial design, followed by upselling, expensive dedicated servers, and threats about Google taking down the website without additional payment. He details a failed attempt to get a refund. The specific details about pricing, pressure tactics, and threats significantly increase the seriousness of the accusation. This is a major red flag.
Derek Baker’s review describes an experience where he ended up doing most of the website updates himself. He claims the company wanted an additional $16k for SEO after the project started, later dropping the price. He also mentions issues with the mock site being frequently suspended. The level of detail, the mention of a specific representative (“Dewayne Johnson”), the description of SEO upselling tactics, the issue with the website suspensions, and the advice to use PayPal for protection, contribute to a disturbing narrative.
Dana thanks the staff for getting the website up and specifically thanks Sarah for quick responses and accurate changes. Like the review from Tom, the mention of Sarah gives the review more credibility.
Bryce Burns believes “The final logo perfectly encapsulates my brand identity. Working with such a talented design team was an absolute pleasure.” This is another positive review that lacks details, making it difficult to verify its authenticity.
Ilarie Constant reports a “fantastic experience” working with Sarah during the website design process. She claims Sarah understands her brand identity and listens attentively. Like the previous two reviews, the mention of Sarah adds credibility.
Jean-Mikail states “These guys are awesome they are fantastic and very responsive. I recommend anyone to work with them.” It is a positive statement, and lacks specific details.
Julie Mendoza claims “They have scammed several people under different Aliases including tech crafters and Sunshine website design. I have started an investigation with the authorities and pursuing legal action. Buyers beware.” This is an explicit accusation of scamming multiple people under different company names, with a legal investigation underway. This review is extremely serious and damaging.
Mariel Barte says “Poor communication, did not complete job but took my money. … Months went by with no updates, the project was never completed after more than 1 year, and they refused to refund me despite the fact that the website was never published.” This review accuses the company of taking money without completing the project, along with poor communication.
Camara Gallimore “highly recommend Elite Design for building your website” and mentions Jack. It mentions great rates and patience.
Jon Lane said “It was really easy working with them , it did take 3 months roughly to finish but how can you put a time limit on custom work. I’m very pleased with the finished product”
