Avoid at all costs!
Avoid at all costs!
As part of a large catering organisation we use this appauling agency who send unqualified people to a fast paced prestigious site in Newmarket. They have no catering experience let alone catering qualifications. So far, we’ve had a footballer and bio chemist, to name but a few.
It is impossible to speak with them on the phone as they use a ridiculous middle man who only emails. We have asked for continuity until we fill a vacancy but they keep sending different people the whole time.
Never worked with such an unprofessional agency and we are now looking to replace them

Bad communication.
My experience with Francesca has been frustrating and unprofessional. We had an appointment scheduled, but she did not call me at the agreed time. Instead, she called the following week without confirming if I was available. This kind of behavior is disruptive and disrespectful, especially considering I have a busy schedule and need to plan my time effectively.
To make matters worse, I received a sudden rejection email without any prior indication, which was unexpected and confusing. The lack of communication and professionalism is disappointing.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and improvements are made in communication and scheduling processes.

Terrible company to work for!!
Terrible company to work for. There are plenty of other temp agencies I’ve worked for who are all miles better than constellation so definitely apply elsewhere if you’re looking for that sort of work. I’m based in London and they put a few shifts on their app every few days and I’ve applied for 100+ shifts and gotten maybe less than 10. Other agencies have given me maybe 50% of the shifts I’ve applied for. When I applied to work for this company, the role was falsely advertised and claimed I would be able to get consistent shifts at a specific location however I have not been given a single shift for this location. Managers I’ve worked for have been verbally abusive and discriminatory, payment is not given on time, and contacting the company about any issues is near impossible. For the sake of your own sanity, DO NOT WORK HERE!!!!!!

Do NOT be fooled by the 4.1 stars on…
Do NOT be fooled by the 4.1 stars on glasses door or whatever that website is called. If you’re in the teen years up to 19 or 20 please don’t enslave yourself to these jobs for a year or more. Better off working for a few weeks to months then quitting and moving on immediately(which I am planning to do). Inconsistent but decent pay, terrible and impatient managers who have no care or self aware for those beneath them, lack of shifts(this comes down to location) and poor conditions. Don’t even get me started on the subtle racism and discrimination.
Not to mention you can get taxed without warning at all. Also, the no pay on time or no pay at all issue must be universal at this agency since I’ve heard from other co workers in some over areas that they’ve kinda experienced the same thing and had to wait even up to a month to receive their payslips. The only reason why I would recommend this job at all is if you’re in a desperate situation for money for a certain period but only at the cost of your mental health and stress.

My best friend worked a 10 hour shift…
My best friend worked a 10 hour shift at edgbaston cricket ground 5 weeks ago and still as not been paid, she spent days chasing it up,and still not paid,it’s disgusting and the company should feel ashamed of themselves,it’s breaking the law no one work’s and doesn’t get Paid, I’ve told my friend to get the ones omdesman to write to them to lay down the law,the place needs to be shut down it’s clearly illegal what they are doing,my friend is not doing anymore shifts untill she gets paid.

My daughter and many other teenagers have not been paid for their shifts under constellation
My daughter worked for constellation at Edgbaston cricket ground in July 2022 from 8am-10pm. She was never paid and after numerous phonecalls, emails and text messages and being told it would be red flagged and dealt with, she still has not been paid, and no one from constellation has bothered to contact her to resolve this. It seems they take advantage of young people. This is very unprofessional and extremely worrying, that this company exploit teenagers in some of their first jobs. Not good at all and this matter needs to be addressed, for non-payment of shifts has happened to many young employees under constellation and when trying to chase it up, they have been blanked by this company.

Client discrimination
We understand that the company has high profile clients, but a client is still a client and their associates shouldn’t be discriminating. They should accommodate every client that asked for an inquiry/recommendation whoever they are. The client understands that it will require a plenty amount of money, and they obviously have the budget for that. So just be nice, do your job right, because we can pay.

Our assessment after analyzing reviews
Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews
Review 1 (Janina Bennett): This review expresses extreme dissatisfaction, citing the agency’s practice of sending unqualified individuals to a demanding catering environment. The lack of industry experience among the sent personnel is a major complaint, exemplified by examples like a footballer and a biochemist. The reviewer also criticizes the agency’s poor communication, which is characterized by the use of a “middle man” and a lack of consistent staffing. The reviewer’s overall experience is extremely negative, concluding with the intention to replace the agency. The specificity of the issues and the strong negative tone suggest authenticity.
Review 2 (Lilia): This review is brief but pointed, highlighting a lack of available jobs after contract signing. The user feels they wasted their time working with this agency, signaling a problem with job placement or communication about available opportunities. While concise, the core complaint about a lack of work after signing a contract raises a red flag about the agency’s effectiveness.
Review 3 (strut catalin): Another short but critical review. The main issue is that shifts booked well in advance are frequently declined, rendering the agency useless for reliable work. This reinforces concerns about poor planning or genuine job availability within the agency. The directness and lack of elaboration make it feel plausible.
Review 4 (Morris): This review uses strong language (“SCAMMERS!”) and alleges a direct financial loss due to a product not being shipped and goods not being returned to the seller, resulting in a loss of over €100. This complaint differs from the others, as it involves a product purchase rather than a service. The use of the term “scammers” should raise serious concerns, but also warrants cautious interpretation as such terms are sometimes misused. It’s an important piece of feedback that doesn’t necessarily fit the pattern of the other reviews, which mostly focus on staffing issues.
Review 5 (Amirah Stephen El): This review focuses on poor communication and unprofessional conduct, citing missed appointments and a sudden rejection email without prior notice. The reviewer emphasizes the disruption caused by the lack of communication, especially given their busy schedule. The detail about Francesca and the specific complaint about a rejected email lends some credibility to the review, indicating a specific experience rather than a general complaint.
Review 6 (Alice): This is a highly negative and detailed review alleging false advertising regarding consistent shifts at a specific location. It also reports instances of verbally abusive and discriminatory managers, late payments, and difficulty contacting the company to resolve issues. The reviewer strongly advises against working for the company, citing a threat to one’s mental health. The multiple specific claims of misconduct and unprofessionalism give weight to the negative assessment.
Review 7 (Bobby Shmeda): This review also warns against being misled by positive ratings on other websites. It criticizes inconsistent pay, terrible managers, a lack of shifts, poor working conditions, and subtle racism/discrimination. The reviewer mentions late or missing paychecks as a universal issue at the agency, corroborated by coworkers. The specificity of the issues and the mention of corroborating experiences from other workers increases the review’s credibility.
Review 8 (Susan Jackett): The review details a situation where the reviewer’s friend worked a 10-hour shift and has not been paid after five weeks of chasing the payment. The reviewer accuses the company of breaking the law and suggests involving the ombudsman. The specific detail of the unpaid shift and the length of time without payment makes the complaint appear credible.
Review 9 (Bev): This review describes a similar situation to Review 8, where the reviewer’s daughter worked a long shift and was never paid despite numerous attempts to contact the company. The reviewer alleges that the company takes advantage of young people and highlights that this issue has happened to many other young employees. The similarities to review 8 further support the concern of a pattern of non-payment.
Review 10 (Diana Lee): This is the only positive review in the provided list. The reviewer praises the company’s care for its customers and employees, rapid growth, and incredible tech. This stands in stark contrast to the other reviews. It could be a genuine positive experience, or a planted review, given the overwhelming negativity of the rest.
Review 11 (sachith perera): This review alleges client discrimination, stating that the company’s associates shouldn’t be discriminating against potential clients, regardless of their profile, especially if they have the budget for the services. This review differs from the complaints about employment conditions and highlights potential issues on the client side of the business. The concern about discrimination is serious and adds another layer of potential issues within the agency.
