A sell-but-don’t-serve company
Broker by the name William Berry communicates with you to sell a policy, but a no response when you inquire about the policy afterwards. TGS Insurance doesn’t appear to be a professional company with any sense of service either. There is no actual people listed in their website to request help -just a bunch of useless generic contacts. I own a bunch of businesses and properties, for each of which I get a policy quote every year. This place lost my business as I don’t appreciate their lack of professionalism or customer care.

As my HO insurance is coming up for review, I received 2 marketing quotes (1 via mail and other via email). Since both were considerably less for the same coverage than my current insurer, I contacted them by phone. Once I had an agent on the phone and after more than 30 minutes of figuring this and figuring that, the agent came back with a quote 2 to 3 times what the marketing pieces had “offered”.

TGS Agency: The worst
If I could give them -5 stars, I would. My high-end car was vandalized, and they’ve done absolutely nothing to help me. This is hands-down the worst customer experience I’ve ever had.
I’ve fired them and I’m ditching Progressive too—the company they pushed on me—because they’re trying to stick me with a used window for my brand-new Corvette.
The agency also failed to honor my policy change when I added my new car for the exact same coverage as the one I removed. Instead, they claimed they had to “investigate” my phone call, saying it would take 24–48 hours. Now they say it won’t be resolved until next week, leaving me with one car I can’t even use because my husband needs it.
They’re untrustworthy liars who clearly don’t care about their customers. I’ve felt nothing but frustration and stress since the moment I called them. Stay far, far away from this agency.

Don’t trust them
Just got the mail. Double window envelope with “HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE RENEWAL NOTICE” in bold print between the windows. Obviously an attempt to make you think this came from your actual insurance company. If they can be this deceptive to get your business, imagine what will happen when you file a claim.

We Were Scammed
We received a quote for homeowners insurance in Feb. for $2600 which we happily agreed to and paid 50%. In March we received a notice that the price was increasing by $2300. “Melissa”, who had set up the policy reassured us she was providing additional documents and all was well. I requested several updates and she kept saying she was working on it. Well, here we are in mid May and the policy is being cancelled for non payment because we never received an updated bill. I believe we’ve been scammed.

Horrible! They charge you a 200 dollar fee just to find an insurance company with compatible rates but as soon as you accept the policy and pay their fee, you’ll receive a letter from the insurance company canceling the policy so you’re out 200 dollars and back where you started. It’s a scam!!

Demetria Martinez was so amazing!!!
Demetria Martinez was so amazing!!!! She went above and beyond to help me settle a mess I had going on. The agent that I had was never available, either out of office or lunch, and I was also told that he “quit” which was not true. Basically got his commission then when things got too difficult to handle he just disappeared. I was sent to Demetria and she took the bull by the horns and tamed it. Just want to say she deserves a raise and a promotion for all the hard work she put in to solve the problems and for working her butt off to get it done quickly! Thank you Demetria Martinez!! I do not like the fact that has been…
I do not like the fact that has been almost a month that money was accepted from me and I have received nothing but a bill. Not how to view my policy not when the security system was being sent. Nothing. I get this is a digital insurer but there are still expectation that should be met. As an agent myself I am now kicking myself for selecting this agency and company. I even attempted to reach out to the agent that “ was confused by me asking questions” then never responded once I asked again for things I should have received.
