***AVOID**swindled my company out of £4,000
Swindled my company out of £4,000. There is even a forum now which is growing by day of companies trying to get tens of thousands back. Its been recently proven they are just kids THAT ARE STILL IN SCHOOL ripping people off. Their own website is something a 3yr old would design.
Today I gave the full address. Just from the people we know so far its £157,000 that have swindled out of companies. There office doesn’t exist…its a mail address.
***AVOID THIS FRAUDULENT CRIMINAL COMPANY***

The brand identity they created for us
The brand identity they created for us completely missed the mark. It didn’t resonate with our target audience, and we ended up having to redo it with another agency. Waste of time and money.

**AVOID**
**AVOID**
I used Nerds to create my website which although was slow to create I was happy with when it was finished. This was until I was contacted recently by a company representing Reuters regarding the fact that one of their pictures was on our website without their permission and they were demanding money for the use of it. I though this could just be a scam to start with but have looked into the organisation that has been in touch and it is legitimate. Nerds have not replied to any of my messages or returned my calls but have logged in and changed all pictures on our website, which means I know that I know they have received my messages and also leads me to believe that they did not have permission to use any of the pictures in the first place.
Any web design and social media content companies I have ever been in contact with, have always used licensed stock photos for all content and this what I was led to believe they were doing. I have stock photo accounts myself so could have supplied pictures if they had asked, but I now have a bill of £680 for use of this photo that I am going to spend time taking legal action to get the money from Nerds if they do not respond to my messages.
I have already sought legal advice and have a route to go down, but hopefully they will do the right thing and be in touch before it get’s that far so that they don’t also incur all the legal bills involved on top of the money being claimed from Reuters. That will end up extremely costly.

Our assessment after analyzing reviews
Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews
The first entry isn’t a review but rather a self-description by the “website’s owner.” This is promotional content, not an unbiased review, and therefore doesn’t contribute to an objective assessment of the company’s credibility. Its inclusion is likely for SEO purposes.
Simon A M Layton’s review is extremely negative, assigning a 1-star rating. The reviewer claims to have been “swindled” out of a significant sum (£4,000) and alleges the existence of a growing forum of similarly defrauded companies. The review further accuses the company of being run by school children and states that their office address is merely a mail drop. The severity and specificity of these accusations, including the claimed total loss of £157,000, are strong indicators of potential fraudulent activity. The all-caps warning and aggressive language further emphasize the negative experience.
James Lewis’ review describes a significant failure in the company’s brand identity services, resulting in a 1-star rating. The reviewer claims the created brand identity “completely missed the mark” and failed to resonate with the target audience, necessitating a complete redo with a different agency. This indicates a lack of skill or understanding of the client’s needs on the part of the agency. The review highlights a waste of time and money, suggesting a significant negative impact on the client’s business.
Henry van’s review echoes similar sentiments, awarding a 1-star rating and citing an “underwhelming” website redesign. The reviewer complains about the project’s extended timeline and the continued presence of bugs on the redesigned website. This suggests poor project management, a lack of technical proficiency, and a failure to deliver a satisfactory product. The reviewer explicitly expresses regret for working with the agency, further reinforcing the negative experience.
Sophie Clark’s review offers a stark contrast, awarding a 5-star rating and praising “Shez” for creating a brand identity that resonates with their audience. The reviewer uses positive language such as “above and beyond” and “perfect,” indicating a highly satisfactory experience. This positive review provides a counterpoint to the negative reviews and suggests that the agency may be capable of delivering good results under certain circumstances or with specific personnel.
Isla Moore’s review is very brief and positive, offering a 5-star rating and a simple “Highly recommend!” This lacks specific details about the services received, making it difficult to assess the basis for the recommendation. While positive, its brevity makes it less informative than the more detailed reviews.
Thomas Johnson’s review is another positive one, with a 5-star rating. The reviewer mentions that the agency helped them set up and manage Google Ads and social media, resulting in “a big increase in traffic and sales.” This provides concrete evidence of positive outcomes and suggests competence in digital marketing. The phrase “Nice work done by them” further reinforces the positive sentiment.
Charlotte Wilson’s review also praises the agency, awarding a 5-star rating and stating that the results of their social media management and email marketing services “were beyond our expectations.” The phrase “Great company!” summarizes the positive experience. Like Thomas Johnson’s review, this provides specific examples of services and positive outcomes.
Andrew Hughes’ review awards a 5-star rating and expresses satisfaction with the brand development and design services for an e-commerce cosmetic beauty store. The reviewer states they “Couldn’t be happier with the branding,” indicating a highly positive outcome. This adds further support for the agency’s potential competence in branding and design.
Daniel’s review is extremely negative, awarding a 1-star rating and issuing a strong warning: “**AVOID**”. The reviewer details a serious issue involving the unauthorized use of a Reuters photo on their website, resulting in a demand for payment. The reviewer claims the agency has not responded to their messages but has silently removed the photos, implying guilt. The reviewer states they are seeking legal action to recover the money owed to Reuters and the associated legal fees. This review points to potential legal and ethical issues with the agency’s practices. The level of detail and the severity of the accusations are alarming.
Mr Ron’s review is titled “what is this?” and is not detailed. The rating is 3 stars, but there’s no accompanying text to understand the reason for the rating. This review is uninformative on its own.
