Much cheaper elsewhere…

I really don’t recommend using this tour company, the price is so much higher than booking it directly, I felt I was seriously ripped off as they provided absolutely no service to me whatsoever except a QR code voucher which they never asked to see on arrival. Others in my tour paid 900k IDR less for the exact same package, which is huge.

Our assessment after analyzing reviews

Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews

Analysis of Review 1 (Website Owner):
This “review” is immediately suspect because it’s identified as written by the website owner. It’s not a review at all, but rather a marketing blurb. The language is overly flowery and promotional (“odyssey of endless discovery,” “captivating narrative,” “etching indelible memories”). It lacks specific details about experiences, services rendered, or concrete benefits. Its sole purpose is to sell the company, making it biased and untrustworthy as a source of objective feedback. This blurb uses generic, emotionally driven language rather than providing facts or insights, a common tactic used in promotional materials to attract customers. It contributes nothing to an assessment of the company’s legitimacy.

Analysis of Review 2 (Joe – 1 Star):
This review raises serious concerns about 17Tour Agency. The user, Joe, explicitly states feeling “ripped off” due to a significantly higher price compared to other travelers on the same tour. The lack of service provided (beyond a QR code voucher that was never used) further exacerbates the negative experience. The price difference of 900k IDR is substantial, suggesting a potential overcharging or lack of transparency in pricing. This review highlights issues with pricing practices, potential lack of value for money, and poor customer service, all red flags for a potentially unreliable tour operator. The specificity of the price difference strengthens the review’s credibility.

17touragency.com likely scam.
