I received complete vindication!

I received complete vindication! I disputed all charges with Bank of America for every penny I paid CWA, a total of $5,866.00! This was an 11 month (started August 8, 20224) HELL HOLE OF STRESS. Biggest lesson, check the reviews, AND listen to your gut! I have 100’s of emails to the individuals listed below… They strung me along for months, incompetence, horrible communication, and constant upselling – they inflate their pricing 100-1000% on services. I realized by January 2025’…ugghhh, when you have that sick feeling you are being taken for a fool, scammed! They all work from Pakistan ( I have no issues with Pakistanis) it’s just that they go to all lengths to deny this, especially when they have horrible internet issues, use personal email addresses because their server went down…and they drop calls constantly… the big one was when they needed into my GoDaddy account and GoDaddy sends me an email that some one from Karachi, Pakistan was trying to gain access…CWA said it must have been a glitch! HA! I know all of them – level…Carlos Anderson, Jimmy Davis, Nathan James, Shawn Harper, Sean O’Berg, Joey McDell, Simon, Rachel, Robert Jones, and Jason Smith.
All of the negative reviews I read here are like I wrote them myself. They are 100% accurate and true!
The last straw was when I found out they were trying to take me for a fool…again, and would not give me the credentials to my website (they say once published – you are 100% owner) they said if I wanted login credentials to my website they needed to do a compliance audit for $400, and then they wanted to charge me an additional 2,079.00 to make it “compliant”. Why the hell are they giving me incompliant website in the first place is beyond me. That was it. I stopped all communication, and put my 30 pages of evidence together and faxed it to the claims department at Bank of America! They emailed me and texted me like crazy to try to talk me into dropping the disputes – The bank said DO NOT, they try to give you sad stories to make you feel sorry for them…the stuff they came up with!! …apparently it messed up their banking and they were not able to process credit cards to continue business. I have received 100% of all money I ever gave these guys! The STRESS is over.
If there are positive reviews…they write them!!

SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is now May 2025, and I had initiated working with them, originally working with Carlos, and then now passed to Paul, to redesign a website I already had hosting and a domain for back in September 2024. Throughout the process I have been asked for thousands on thousands of dollars for unnecessary things, and now when I thought I was FINALLY done (after 8 months of just aesthetic redesign), I was told that they own my website’s copyright. I am losing my mind. They also took down their job listing on Thumbtack very conveniently after I purchased, so that was my first of many red flags. If you would like even the smallest amount of sanity, do not use Custom Website Agency.

Scam Artists! I guess I had to use at least One Star

I guess I had to use at least One Star! They are not worth That! Basically scammed me out of almost $7000 cad! They told me that I needed a dedicated server for my website first. All the reasons about security. I knew nothing about building a site, $2135 usd! Then last fall, I was charged $1600 usd for Google Compliance, you need only TO comply, there is no specific fee! Then they told me I needed PIPEDA compliance $2054 cad! There is no fee for PIPEDA it’s a Canadian compliance that need only to follow the rules of compliance! Then tried to charge me for Stripe compliance $1800 usd for 3 years but really get a good deal by getting 10 years for $3500 usd. THAT one I didn’t bite on. Contacted Stripe…. you guessed it No fee for compliance! NEVER use this company!!! NEVER!!

Custom Website Agency fraud

I hired Custom Website Agency to design and build a ecommerce website. They convinced me to pay an extra $1476 for a dedicated server on Bluehost. I later discovered my website is hosted on with Namecheap and is on a server shared with 251 other sites. This is stealing pure and simple. They also charged me for “professional email service” which is terrible. Email was supposed to be included. They tried to charge me $1000 for an ADA compliance plugin. I found the exact same thing available for free. They charged me for 2 years in advance for a Doba subscription that Doba bills monthly. They don’t do what they say they will do when they said they would do it. I suspect they are not using their real names and that they are in Pakistan not New jersey. I paid $5000 for them to market my products. Luckily the payment didn’t get processed because they had some mysterious issue with their payment processor. They never did any of the promised marketing. I am now locked out of the website I paid for. These people are fraudsters. Don’t waste your money.

These guys are not trust worthy and wasted our money and 2 months of time doing shit

These guys are not trust worthy. Rip offs we paid them $1450 for social media, seo, Google ads and updating content of our website. The services was paid for 3 months in advance and they’ll only contact to sell you 10 othe irrelevant things. We had to take the loss and kick them away because they weren’t doing shit. Jobs are taken then handed to people in India who don’t know basic stuff like researching keywords. Obviously they be multiple revisions if you don’t know your work or don’t meet requirements. So be aware. You’ll be talking to different people and the person who takes dissappears. My bad I trusted them os had to deal with there pathetic workrate

Wanted a label created for my podcast

Wanted a label created for my podcast. I was looking for something military themed. Something that was tactical. The theme was supposed to be PTSD awareness for veterans. However, the original estimated time is 24 hours for a sketch. it took over a week and the sketch they gave me was absolutely terrible. The dog literally had 4 ears and when they fixed it, it looked like a scene from a terrible anime cartoon. I threw in the towel and got tired of working with them. very unresponsive very unprofessional. I didn’t even ask for a refund. They just kept making all these false promises and all they want is your money upfront. Once you pay them They immediately start treating you.
Be cautious

Their lack of ethics and professionalism make them an untrustworthy and abusive company.

My experience with The Custom Website Agency was extremely negative. From the moment I hired them, they became a nightmare. The company turned out to be deceitful and dishonest, even going as far as stealing money from me without any justification.

When I requested a refund, the company refused. Despite not having completed any work or fulfilled the agreed upon terms, they only offered to refund 50% of what they had charged me.

Furthermore, the lack of communication from The Custom Website Agency was concerning. I never received any follow-up or contact from them until I demanded a refund.

In summary, I would not recommend hiring The Custom Website Agency at all. Their lack of ethics and professionalism make them an untrustworthy and abusive company. Be very cautious when dealing with them!
