Avoid this agency at all costs
Avoid this agency at all costs.
Do not about the insurance service with this agency but for issue visas, the dubai agency, sucks.
Yesterday they charged me for an Indonesian visa six times its actual price. On their mobile site, they use multiple dark UX tactics—hiding the fees during the application process and charging you without any prior confirmation through your bank. By the time you notice their outrageous fees, it’s too late to dispute the payment.
They also hide behind the excuse that once a visa is issued, it cannot be canceled or refunded. And while they claim to have “transparent fees,” they bury them in the website’s footer.
I strongly advise against using this agency, at least for anything visa-related.

Travelner Travel Agency LLC is a ripoff
The way this company “Travelner Travel Agency LLC” does business is scam-like with deceptive marketing practices. They use another name “Tanzania Immigration Services” and they use a domain name and URL which makes you think its the tanzania government and the electronic form used to apply for the Tanzania entry visa does not show disclaimer that they are not the government but a travel agency . No where on the application form or payment page do they disclose that they are a travel agent and they charge twice as much ($214) as the Tanzania Government which charges $100 for the visa. They even take days longer to get approval. Don’t use them – they are a rip off. Use the legitimate Tanzanian government website

Scam
Scam. I was charged 29 USD ( as service fees) without being issued insurance. Who is charging service fees without providing actual service?
Insurance cost 10 USD – failed
Service fee 29 USD – paid
After that, I got four calls asking to make the payment again, lol.
P.S. They promised to refund the “service fee.” however, I disputed it already

Are they even a real business?
There was no customer service response by telephone, WhatsApp, or e-mail for two days.
After completing my online purchase I even received an e-mail saying essentially, whoops, you owe us more money. Our prices have changed!
I had to put a stop payment on my cc.
After two days, I suddenly got a flurry of messages by WhatsApp and e-mail, apologizing and refunding my purchase price. I was still left concerned about how they would have handled a medical emergency if it had occurred. They explained that they had experienced computer problems and apologized profusely.

I am waiting for a refund
I am waiting for a refund. Their customer support is a mess and I am not sure whether I ll receive the refund . Will write detailed review once i get a refund. Travelner must refund immediately and not delay adding to customer’s disappointment. Will update my ratings on the basis of their support.
Update: after a series of mails with the team i was finally refunded my amount. I am taking away one star for the hassle i had to go through.

Updated review
Bought insurance through this company, they charged double more than it said on the website, when I was providing my bank details (update: I found out later that a price in big bold green font was not the final price and the final price was written in smaller font below). That is the biggest disrespect a company can show a customer and a huge red flag (update: I still agree with that).
Other than charging double, I have not received the product. The email that I received stated they need me to provide additional information by replying to this email (which was a no-reply email), so I am unable to do that. (Update: after contacting customer support, I was able to get the product for a cheaper price and got all the documents. Customer support was indeed helpful).
Update: I received the product at the end for cheaper due to the help from customer support, so I feel obliged to change my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. However, a company that deliberately tries to trick their customers and causes additional stress before travelling is not worth more than that.

Our assessment after analyzing reviews
Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews
The first review is written by “the website’s owner,” which immediately raises a significant red flag. It’s purely promotional material, touting Travelner’s services and claiming to offer the “best travel experience.” The language is generic and lacks any specific details or customer testimonials. This is not a credible review as it serves only to advertise and cannot be considered an unbiased opinion. It’s a marketing statement disguised as a review.
REBECA’s review is extremely negative, giving a 1-star rating. The client accuses Travelner of employing “dark UX tactics” on their mobile site to hide fees and overcharge for a visa. They claim the fees are buried, payment is taken without confirmation, and cancellation is impossible after the visa is issued. This review is detailed and specific, pointing to potential unethical business practices and lack of transparency. The claim of charging six times the actual price for an Indonesian visa is a serious allegation.
Walter’s review also gives a 1-star rating and accuses Travelner of “scam-like” and “deceptive marketing practices.” He claims they operate under a different name (“Tanzania Immigration Services”) and use a misleading domain name to appear as the Tanzanian government. The reviewer states that they charge twice the government fee for a Tanzanian visa ($214 vs. $100) without disclosing their status as a travel agent. This is a very serious and specific accusation of impersonation and price gouging.
Muner Topelo’s review is short and less severe, giving a 2-star rating. The main complaint is dissatisfaction with the services and slow response times from staff. While not as damning as the 1-star reviews, it does indicate potential issues with customer service and efficiency. The lack of detail makes it harder to fully assess, but it contributes to a negative overall picture.
Thuran vogesrt’s review gives a 3-star rating but describes a highly problematic experience. The reviewer states there was no customer service response for two days and received a “whoops, you owe us more money” email after completing the purchase. They had to put a stop payment on their credit card. Although the rating is neutral, the details suggest serious issues with pricing transparency and customer support.
Jhavyen Thomas’s review stands out as a positive one, giving a 5-star rating and calling Travelner an “absolute life saver.” The reviewer claims they were stuck at the airport and Travelner quickly provided the necessary documents. This review is brief but provides a specific positive experience related to resolving an urgent travel issue.
Oleksii Vasylenko’s review is another 1-star rating, labeling Travelner as a “scam.” The reviewer was charged a $29 service fee without receiving the insurance they paid for. They were then asked to pay again, which they found absurd. The reviewer is disputing the charge. This review highlights potential problems with billing accuracy and service delivery.
Bernice Laas-Bezuidenhout’s review is positive, giving a 5-star rating. They were “impressed” with the service and noted a spelling error was corrected within 24 hours. The reviewer was happy with the overall service. This provides a counterpoint to the negative reviews.
Kotz’s review is another positive 5-star rating, praising the ease of procuring insurance and the “prompt response and very courteous services” from Ms. Thi. They received their Certificate of Insurance quickly and accurately. This supports the idea that some customers have positive experiences.
Spok’s review is a short but positive 5-star rating, describing Travelner as “highly professional” and noting that the service is “fast and efficient.” This is another positive data point that contrasts with the negative reviews.
Herve’s review is a brief and positive 5-star rating, simply stating “Top 👌” and describing the service as “So fast and very professional.” While lacking detail, it adds to the collection of positive feedback.
Rafael Andres Villalobos Valde’s review gives a 5-star rating and praises “Thai’s costumer service,” describing it as “one of the best I have experienced!” The reviewer found the service fast, precise, and efficient. This highlights the positive experiences some customers have with specific customer service representatives.
Gabby Sampson’s review is strongly negative, giving a 1-star rating and calling Travelner a “SCAM!” They claim the company is not legitimate and that they are unlicensed. The reviewer points out that Travelner contacted them via WhatsApp, which they consider “sketchy.” This review adds to the serious accusations of fraudulent practices.
Steve Solomon’s review gives a 3-star rating and questions if Travelner is “even a real business?” The reviewer experienced a lack of customer service response for two days and was later asked for more money after completing the purchase. They eventually received a refund but were concerned about how Travelner would handle a medical emergency. This highlights significant customer service and communication issues.
Tulika Shree’s review gives a 4-star rating. They were initially waiting for a refund and unhappy with the customer support. They updated their review after receiving the refund, but took away one star for the “hassle” they had to go through. This indicates that while issues can be resolved, the process is not always smooth.
Ugnė Grikinytė’s review is an updated 3-star rating. Initially, the reviewer was charged double the price advertised on the website due to deceptive pricing practices. They also had trouble receiving the product. After contacting customer support, they were able to get the product at a cheaper price. Despite the resolution, the reviewer still criticizes the company for deliberately trying to trick customers.
Florence Florence, Becky Fayose, Francis Njekwa, Omar Ashraf and Chikhalkar Chikhalkar’s review gives a 5-star rating. They all indicate positive experiences with the service of Travelner.
Travelner likely a scam with mixed results
